  1.                         UNIVERSE OF MONO PCX CLIPART

  3.                              HOW TO USE THIS CD
  4.  
  5.     This CD contains over 12,000 clipart pictures ready to load direct
  6.     from the CD. Obviously, with this many pictures to choose from, it
  7.     would be easier if you could see or print the pictures prior to
  8.     using them in your favourite word processor or desktop publisher.
  9.  
  10.     We have therefore included two programs - firstly a run-time version
  11.     of Thumbs Plus CDRom Developers Kit. This will enable you to view
  12.     and print pictures from this CD, by directory or personalised
  13.     selection. Secondly, we have included the complete shareware version
  14.     of Thumbs Plus for you to evaluate for thirty days. Please note that
  15.     if you continue to use this program after thirty days, you should
  16.     register the program with the author or their agents.

  18.     To run the Thumbs Plus CD Kit from Windows 3, simply start Windows,
  19.     click on File, click on Run, then type D:\THUMBSCD, then click on OK.
  20.  
  21.     To run the Thumbs Plus CD Kit from Windows 95, click on Start, click
  22.     on Run, then type D:\THUMBSCD (this may automatically be showing),
  23.     then click on OK.

  25.     Please note that if your CD drive is not D: substitute the appropriate
  26.     letter in the instructions above.

  28.     To install Thumbs Plus shareware version, you must start this CD menu
  29.     from DOS. Simply select INSTALL THUMBS PLUS SHAREWARE from the menu.
  30.     This will start Windows 3 for you and install Thumbs Plus.

  32.     If you are running Windows 95, you cannot install from the menu, 
  33.     as you will get the error message This Machine is already running
  34.     Windows. You should instead click on Start, click on run, then type
  35.     D:\THMPLS. This will install Thumbs Plus in the same way.

  37.     Please note that if you do not possess either Windows 3 or Windows 95,
  38.     you will not be able to use either version of Thumbs Plus.

  40.     There are also several art, desktop publishing and image manipulation
  41.     programs available from this CD. To access these type GO from the DOS
  42.     prompt, or run GO from Windows 3 Program Manager or Windows 95 Start
  43.     Run button.

  45.     Press Esc to return to the main menu.
